Taco Bell “Defy” is a new drive-thru concept focused on speed. This new build is the first of its kind for the Taco Bell Franchise and is revolutionizing the future of drive-thrus. The unique design features two-stories, housing the employees on the second level above the four lane drive-thru. Food is delivered via a proprietary lift system, providing a contactless experience. Steen worked closely with our Client to provide power, heating/cooling and drainage design for this new lift system as well as providing overall mechanical, electrical & plumbing design for this exceptional building.
